Digging for treasure! |
In 2005 we had visits from pupils from Uyeasound Primary School, Fetlar Primary School, Baltasound Junior High School and The Unst Young Archaeologists Club, some of whom very kindly donated their post-visit artwork to our website. During their visits, the pupils got to have a go at being archaeologists themselves in our 'Kids Trench'. Treasures recovered from careful excavation were bagged up and taken back to school for more detailed analysis using a specially designed 'finds report' form.
