In 2010 we focussed on the site of Jean Gordon’s 1598 salt house and also re-visited the pan hearth in Trench 4 to answer a few outstanding questions. Highlights of 2010 were a site visit and workshop with finds specialists involved in the project, and a day of filming with the BBC television Landward crew. Our highly visible excavations on the beach meant that hundreds visitors had a first-hand encounter with Brora’s oldest buildings.
